Handle Closeup | Reverse side of Bowie
Classic American Bowie featuring a hand forged, high carbon steel blade with an active hamon. The blade length is 10.5" with an overall length of 16". The fittings are charcoal blued iron with an interesting tiger strip affect on the flats. The seppa is gold plated nickel silver and the spacer between the ferrule and the handle is shakudo. The shakudo spacer was gold plated and then the rim was polished and patinated deep purple. The handle is ebony with a raised carving on the logo side. This is an elegant knife that photos can not do justice.
