The Cloud Bowie was hand forged from 1095 high carbon steel round bar. Blade length 8.75 inches, 13.5 inches overall. The blade has been selectively hardened and shows nicely detailed hamon as illustrated in the rollover. The fittings are fire blued iron showing varigated tones from bronze to purple. The spacers are nickel silver and a Gidgee wood handle. Gidgee is a dense Australian desert hardwood with good figure and rich color. The knife is nicely balanced just ahead of the guard with good distal taper from just over .25 inches at the guard. The blade is marked with my 24k gold cherry blossom logo.
