We are offering 52100 in bar stock. This material is forged down from a 6" diameter bar. We can forge to almost any size from 4"x4" down to 2"x 1/4" and anything in between. We can surface grind to any thickness. This is all done on an "as ordered" basis and delivery time is approximately ten days if it is a size we do not have in stock. Current prices are as follows:
Our standard reforging stock which measures 1 1/2" x 3/8ths" is $2.00 per inch.
Surface grinding is $1.00 per inch additional.
Microscopic examination of our material shows consistent uniform fine grain that surpasses what is found in rolled bar or steel that has been forged on small power hammers.
