This straight sword was forged from 1095 and selectively heat treated and polished to show hamon. The blade is 261/4 inches to the machi and is 1 1/2 inches at its widest. It is a very powerful blade. I have created a gallery of close-up images of the hamon which is quite active. Dha Image Gallery
